​Event Overview

​

The Brainspotting (BSP) Intensive was originally devised by Dr. David Grand, founder and developer of BSP, to provide the ultimate learning experience for BSP practitioners. The registration is capped at 10 participants and the schedule is for five full consecutive days. 

 

There are 10 experientials in the center of the group with each participant being therapist once and client once. Joy sits next to the therapist and personally teaches by guiding the therapist in the BSP process. Afterwards, each session is debriefed extensively, enhancing the learning process. The Intensive is essentially a master class in developing skills as an advanced clinical BSP therapist.

 

You must complete Phase 2 in order to participate.

 

Tuition: $2000 USD per person

A light breakfast, snacks, coffee, tea and water included

Lodging and cost of lunch, dinner are separate expenses

 

Location

We will meet at Casa Buho, a house located on 6 spacious acres in the OJAI Valley which is an hour and 45 minutes from Los Angeles and 45 minutes from Santa Barbara. This private sanctuary is located 15 minutes from downtown OJAI. Airport information can be found below.

**You must be present for the entire training. No partial credit.

    Do not schedule anything during training hours.

-  We invite you to extend your stay one night if your schedule allows

-  Our training ends at 6pm on MON, 3/2.

-  Leave MON after 6pm or stay for group dinner and integration

-  Check-out is by 10 AM next day for those who choose to extend their stay

Transportation

The three closest airports to Ojai, CA are Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), located about 34 miles away; Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), which is further but viable option; and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is the most popular choice for travelers despite being the furthest.
