Phase Two (NOV 16-18)

OVERVIEW

Brainspotting radically changes the way we do therapy. Often there are underlying issues with trauma that no amount of talk therapy can help. Brainspotting has given us an awesome tool to help clients resolve trauma.

If you have completed the Phase 1 BSP training, you know first-hand that Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based trauma therapy that accesses the deepest regions of the brain where clients store their disturbing/traumatic experiences and survival terror. You also know that trauma symptoms are notoriously difficult to eliminate through talk therapy because verbal engagement does not reach the regions in the brain where traumatic and body memories are stored, making lasting change impossible. If you've loved how Brainspotting has helped your clients after Phase 1, Phase 2 is a great addition to your toolbox. In this intermediate Brainspotting Phase 1 training, participants will:

• Be given a review of the four basic Brainspotting techniques learned in the Brainspotting Phase 1 training.
• Acquire basic mastery of five additional Brainspotting techniques that focuses on helping clients who have difficulty handling intense activation.

These advanced set-ups include Outside-Inside Window, Rolling Brainspotting, One-Eyed Brainspotting, Z-Axis, and Advanced Resource Brainspotting.

Who can attend the Phase 2 training?

Anyone who has completed a Brainspotting Phase 1 training. We welcome back mental health providers, healthcare professionals, coaches and other licensed/certified healing practitioners with a strong clinical background. Students/interns in the mental health field who are curious and wish to expand their knowledge will also add advanced and helpful tools to their clinical toolbox with this training.

Your Trainer

Joy Myong has worked as a wellness advocate in her community for the past 22 years. She is a certified Brainspotting Consultant and Trainer and co-founder of the BSP Embodied Learning Circles which helps experienced and newly trained BSP practitioners embody the Brainspotting theory and techniques learned at Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings. Joy is committed to helping fellow therapists and healing practitioners avoid burnout and founded Brain Body Revolution to provide inclusive supports to a growing community of quantum healers. Joy describes herself as a connector and learner with advanced trainings and certifications in: Alcohol and Drug Addictions Counseling, EFT and Dahn Body Tapping, Mindfulness-based CBT, Master Reiki Practitioner and Teacher in the Mikao Usui tradition, Trauma-Informed Pilates Therapy as well as a Consultant for Co-regulating Couples with Imago, Expansion Brainspotting & Parts work.

Evaluations and attendance certificates will be emailed within a week of training completion. Many practitioners qualify for CE credit but this is not guaranteed. Because rules vary by state, it is best to contact your state board and do your own research. Please see CE Disclosure.
